How to choose a website builder
Searching for a recommended website builder returns pages with stars, logos, and a crossed-out price. Those are marketing signs. The decision closes on what the proposal says and who holds the site after payment.
What does not count as proof
A round rating with no reviews you can read, a logo wall without permission to publish, and a "from" price with no inclusion list — none of these say the next site will be good.
Proof you can check: a live site, a structure you can read, a speed score you can measure, and the name of the person responsible.
Questions, and a weak answer versus one you can sign
| Question | Weak answer | An answer you can use |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the site? | We do, you rent it | The domain, content, and code are yours |
| What is included? | Everything, standard | A list of pages, rounds, and languages |
| Who builds it? | The team | The name of the person who stays with you |
| Search rankings? | We will get you to page one | Foundation yes, rankings are not promised |
| After launch? | There is support | For how long, and what it costs after |
| Can I see work? | Logos | A live link, or an explanation if there is not one |
