What to prepare before a website is built
A useful brief starts from material, not from a pitch. Someone who arrives with services, an audience, and a logo saves a round. Someone who arrives with only "make it nice" gets questions, not a site.
What should be on the table
Five lines are enough to start: what you sell, to whom, how it differs from a competitor, what the visitor should do, and how they get in touch. Without that you cannot choose between a landing page, a brochure site, and a store.
A logo as a file, not a screenshot. Photos you are allowed to use, not an image pulled from Google. If there are no photos, say so. A clean block of colour is better than a picture without a licence.
- The business name and how it is written
- Services or products, one sentence each
- Phone, WhatsApp, and an address if there is one
- Logo and colours if they exist
- An existing domain, or a name to register
- An old site, if it needs a redirect
