Automation instead of manual work
Not every manual task should disappear. What should disappear is a task that repeats, has a rule, and whose mistake costs time or a lost enquiry.
Three questions before you build
Does it happen every day or every week? Is the next step always the same? Can you write the rule in one sentence? Three yes answers make a candidate. If the next step depends on the tone of the conversation, a person stays.
After the build, run one case that should send and one case that must not. An automation without a negative test sends a reminder to someone who already closed.
| Task | Hand over | Keep |
|---|---|---|
| Copying details | Yes | |
| A reminder by time | Yes | |
| A price quote | Yes, after the call | |
| Deciding if the customer fits | Yes |
